I took photos while we were staying at Mansfield Plantation near Georgetown, South Carolina.  Can you imagine how hot it was working in the rice fields in the summer?  Trees along the river there are easily over 200 years old, gnarly with stories to tell.  They serve a fabulous breakfast at the original dining room table.  Mansfield is a secret destination you might want to check out especially with a few couples.  

This oak could be anywhere up and down the coast between Georgia and North Carolina.  We are graced with their strength and flexibility during storms.
